COMMUNITY LED SPORTS
Our aim is to make sport accessible to everyone! We offer sporting activities to encourage people from all backgrounds and communities throughout Solihull to get involved in sport locally.
Our community sports programme is run from the Hampton in Arden Tennis and Sports Club, Coleshill Tennis and Sports Club, church groups and youth centres.
Exercising and playing sports together promotes fairness, equality, and respect. Valuable life skills such as team building, perseverance and discipline can be taught through the medium of sport. Being active helps release pressure and tension, improves sleep patterns and can reduce anxiety. All this can be achieved while having fun!
We offer a wide range of sports activities , catering to all skill levels and abilities, including , racket sports, cricket, orienteering, hockey, table tennis, petanque and bowls.
We are always particularly keen to include local youth centres, knowing that sport encourages not only fitness but social inclusion and mental wellbeing. We work with children with SEN, young carers and church groups to name but a few. Everyone is welcome, regardless of physical ability or skill.
If you would be interested to have our sporting activities at your youth centre, SEN school or church group please contact us - we would love to discuss what we can achieve together!
